Dr. Payam Deljoui
General Dentistry
Dr. Payam Deljoui has been providing high-quality dentistry to his appreciative and loyal patients for over 13 years. After graduating from dental school and building his own dental practice in Iran, Dr. Deljoui decided to move to Canada. In 2007, he was rewarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from UBC and immediately opened his dental practice in Burnaby, BC.
Dr. Deljoui loves dentistry and spends a lot of time educating his patients on the modern solutions that are available to them. Because of his dedication and thorough work, many new patients come to Metropolis Dental Group because their friends or family have praised Dr. Deljoui’s patient care and expert dental work. Dr. Deljoui also teaches as an instructor at UBC on a part-time basis for 4th-year dental students. He was awarded the Doctor of Dental Medicine Faculty of Dentistry Teaching Award from UBC in 2021. Dr. Deljoui is celebrated for being extremely passionate about dentistry and praised for his many contributions to the UBC Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Sara Raziee
General Dentistry
Dr. Sara Raziee, General Dentist, graduated with a Dental (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto in 2011. She moved to Vancouver in 2012 and has been a full time dentist at Lougheed Mall Dental since. She loves educating her patients about their oral health. She takes time to listen to her patients’ individual needs and provides dentistry in a calm manner.
Dr. Amir Ajar
General Dentistry
Dr. Amir Ajar, General Dentist, graduated from McGill University with a Doctorerate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1995. Dr. Ajar has lectured at the University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, University of Calgary and McGill University. He currently serves as an instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC.

Dr. Aman Kalucha
General Dentistry
Hailing from India, Dr. Kalucha takes a global approach to dental health having B.D.S degree from Baba Farid University, Punjab and DDS from the prestigious institution Dalhousie School of Dentistry, Halifax in 2020.
He loved the program at Dal and earned various awards like Nova Scotia Specialist Award (2020), Dr Harold Brogan Award (2019) for superior Clinical Skill and Patient compassion and Dr Sura Hadad Scholarship (2019) Award in Dentistry. He also did General Practice Residency (2020-2021) from Dal, where he was exposed to more challenging procedures under the guidance of various specialists.
Aside from practicing specialized dentistry, Dr. Kalucha likes listening to music, watching movies and playing Badminton and cricket. He lives in Burnaby with his beautiful dentist wife and two kids.
Dr. Cindy Liang
General Dentistry
Dr. Cindy Liang grew up in Vancouver and obtained her Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Waterloo and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with distinction from the University of Western Ontario.
She is passionate about expanding her professional repertoire through various continuing education courses and study clubs. She aims to provide gentle and comfortable care, involving her patients as much as possible in their treatment decisions.
She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
